Second: Human Resources Development Programs:

1. Automated computer system to assess feasibility studies and evaluate projects design The Scientific Council has installed, operated and trained staff of the Ministry of Planning and International Co-operation on an automated computer system to assess feasibility studies and evaluate projects design funded by IFAD from   02/04/2010 to 30/06/2010.

 2. Financial planning, budgeting and costing in the field of gas, The course was held intensively for a period of one week for 4 trainees from the financial department of Yemen Petroleum Company from 12/30/2009 to (06/01/2010). 

3. Modern methods to evaluate and prepare the training packages,The course was carried out according to a contract signed with the Yemen Petroleum Company in 2009 to train 15 participants for two weeks. 

3. Maintenance of Car carburetors, The course to maintain car petroleum carburetors was held for two weeks for 10 trainees from Yemeni Oil Company in 2009.

 4. Interpretation Methods of financial statements , The Scientific Council signed a contract with the Yemen Petroleum Company to  train 12 trainees, the training program have been held for two weeks in 2009. 

  5. Standards methods to preserve oil reserves (Advanced)The Scientific Council signed a contract with the CEO of Yemeni oil company to train 10 trainees for a period of two weeks of 2009.

 6.Modern methods of fire fighting in oil facilities and stations The contract was signed with the director of the raining and qualification department in 5/08/2008 for the training of 10 trainees for a period of two weeks from (5/08/2008 to 19/08/2008). 

7. First aid  & managing   negotiation  with hospitalsIn 05/08/2008 SCSAS signed a contract with the Director of Training and Qualification at Yemen Petroleum Company to train 10 participants in first aid & managing   negotiation  with hospitals

 8. Modern methods of awareness and inspection  of safety  aspects , In 05/08/2008 the contract has been signed with the director of Training and Qualification of Yemeni oil company, the training course lasted for two weeks and was attended by 12 trainees. 

 9. Financial Tenders and preparation of contractsThe Scientific Council has conducted a training course on Financial Tenders and preparation of contracts for 15 trainees from the Yemen Petroleum Company on Augest,28,2008.

10. Marketing of oil derivativesThe training program on Marketing of oil derivatives was carried out on 28/08/2006 to train 15 participated from the Yemen Petroleum Company  for two weeks.

 11. Training Program in Home Economics for 18 rural woman leaders (training of trainers) from four different provinces in Yemen. The contract was signed with the Social Puns for Development, institutional Capacity Building! Presidency of Council of Ministers funded by the World Bank (22/1-30/2/2000).

12.  The Unified Accounting System for 22 staff of Bajel Cement Factory, the Ministry of Industry (22/4-27/4/2000).

13.  Employees Affaires Training Program that was carried out for the Eastern Regions Development Authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation funded by the Islamic Bank for Development (29/1-7/2/2000).

14.  Purchasing Management Training Program that was carried out for the Eastern Regions Development Authority! the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation funded by the Islamic Bank for Development (29/1/2-7/2/2000).

15.  Internal Control and Internal Auditing Training Program that was carried out for the Eastern Regions Development Authority! the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation funded by the Islamic Bank for Development      (29/1/2-7/2/2000).

16.  Methods of Analyzing and Control of Storage Training Program that was carried out for the Eastern Regions Development Authority! the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation funded by the Islamic Bank for Development (30/I -8/2/2000).

7.  Development of Secretary Skills and Office Daily Follow up Work that was carried out for the Eastern Regions Development Authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation funded by the Islamic flank for Development (30/1-8/2/2000).

18.  Development of Secretary Skills and Office Daily Follow up  which was carried out for 2 staff from the General  Authority for Pension and Social Security of the Ministry of Social Security and Social Insurance (5/2-8/2/2000).

19.  Agriculture Extension and Methods of Extension Education

that was carried out for the Eastern Regions Development Authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and irrigation funded by the Islamic Bank for Development (5/2-14-12/2000).

20.  Maintenance  and Uses of Agricultural  Machinery Program that was carried out for the Eastern Regions Development Authority of the Ministry  of Agriculture and Irrigation funded by the Islamic Bank for Development (5/12-14/2/2000).

21.  Animal health training program that was carried out for the Eastern Regions Development Authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and   litigation funded by the Islamic Bank for Development (5/2-14/2/2000).

22. Engineering Design  of Buildings and Engineering Establishments program that was carried out for the Eastern Regions Development Authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation funded by the Islamic Bank for Development . (19/2.28/2/2000).

    23. Archiving and Follow up Systems for Secretaries and office Managers for 10 of Al-Moaiad Group of Companies (7/8-19-8/1999).

24. Sales Accounting program for  Bajel Cement Factory, Ministry of Industry (12  trainees) from 19/6-24/6/1999).

25. Developing Skills of Experts Working with NGOs and Social Associations which was conducted for 3 Directors from the General Directorate of Organizations and Associations of the Ministry of Social Security arid Insurance funded by the World Bank. This program was implemented in the Egyptian International Center of Agriculture in Cairo/ Egypt from 19/5-8/6/199922.

26. Cost Accounting program for Bajel Cement Factory/ Ministry of Industry,   12 trainees (from 5/6-9/6/I 999).

27. Cost  Problems Associated with Marketing Activities, which was carried out for 10 staff working in sales department of the Yemen Economic Corporation (18/4 -12 /5/1999).

28. Accounting Systems for Wages  in Relation with Time Control  which  was      carried out for I0 staff working in sales department of the Yemen Economic corporation (10/4-26/4/1 999).

29. Sales and Marketing Training Program  which was carried out for the    Yemen Drug Company /Ministry of Industry (II trainees) and the Central Organization for Control and Auditing (I-trainee) from 13/3-24/3/1 999.

30. Methods of Analyzing and Control of Storage which was carried out for the Yemen Drug Company /Ministry of Industry (9 trainees) and the Central Organization for Control and Auditing(1-trainee) from 13/3-18/3/1999

31. Internal Control and Internal Auditing Training Program that was      carried out for the Yemen Drug Company /Ministry of Industry (9 trainees) and one trainee from the Yemen Board for the Road Maintenance Fund (27/1-10/3/1999).

32. The Unified Accounting System that was carried out for the Yemen Drug Company /Ministry of Industry (11 trainees) from 27/2-10/3/1999.

33. Developing Administrative Skills of General Directors and Department  heads that was carried out for the Yemen Gas Company/Ministry of Oil (11 trainees) and the Yemen Board for the Road Maintenance Fund (2 trainees) from 29/11-13/12/1998.

34. Methods of Yearly Auditing that was carried out for the Yemen Gas   Company! Ministry of Oil (13 trainees) and the Yemen Board for the Road Maintenance Fund (2 trainees) from 29/11-13/12/1998.

35. New Methods in Financial Planning and Budget Preparations which was implemented for the Yemen Gas Company/Ministry of Oil (7 trainees) and the Yemen Board for the Road Maintenance Fund (2 trainees) from 29/11-13/12/1998.

36. Purchasing and Storage Management which was carried out for the Presidential Office (9 trainees) from 25/10-3 1/10/1998.

37. Accounting System for Wages in Relation with Time Control  was carried out for 6 trainees from the Presidential Office R6m 25/10-31/10/1998.
